The plaster bandage 'mother mold' is applied over the fiber. The plaster bandages are dipped in warm water and applied one at a time. It is very important that each bandage is smoothed flat against the mold or an air pocket will result creating an imperfect mold. Usually three layers over lapping each bandage by 1/3 provides sufficient strength. Plaster bandages still need to be applied around the face and lower thighs before the mold is complete. About 25-minutes have elapsed.
