Serene
1999
Pottery plaster with faux bronze finish,
original.

(More details by clicking on the picture)

Serene was made about a year ago. The model's father has the original, but my wife likes it so much, she asked me to make a copy for our house. I plan to try this one in a clear plastic, like glass, just to see if it works.

Copies are available for $250 in pottery with a faux bronze finish.

The Handy Man (pun intended) was an attempt to keep a real tool as part of the sculpture. By golly, it worked.

Who Me?
2000
Pottery plaster with faux bronze finish,
original.

(More details by clicking on the picture)

Who me? was entered in the Alwun House Exotica 2000 earlier this year. The original in pottery plaster with the faux bronze finish is available for $1500. Copies may be ordered (lead time about two months) in Forton for $500, or in cold cast copper or bronze for $600. No, I won't give out the name of the model.

Balance Beam
1997
Cold cast copper.

(More details by clicking on the picture)

Balance Beam was done as a gift for the coach of the 1972 women's Olympic
Gymnastics Team, from the women on the team at their 25th year reunion. The
beam is a replica of the way they were made in 1972. The hands are cold cast
copper. I promised that I would never make a duplicate of this piece.
