One Inch Nails

"One inch nails" was done in 1998. I had had several pieces on display at a body-building contest, in the hopes of interesting someone in commissioning a torso. No one was in the least interested in copies of their own magnificent bodies. However, one gentleman who was there to lend moral support to one of the contestants saw the work and asked me to cast his girlfriend's hand, because that was the part of her he admired most. The piece is pottery, with a faux bronze finish.
