Gabriella's Poetry
Don't ask how it feels to be me
Don't ever wish you could ever be me
Don't ever try to be me
Only I was built to bear my burden
You have your own.
Now exposed
Nude to your eyes only,
Stranded in your mercy
I plead your understanding
Bearing my soul to you
Like a naked body on a crucifix
In your power,
I've surrendered all of my being
These tears that fell
Dictated by my heart beating frantic
Betrayed me
I am trembling, I feel the breeze
My skin is on fire, yet I freeze
The opening made for you is permanent
And for me only pain remains
I'm trusting you with my soul
Be kind!
