After you have mastered the art of body
casting, you'll will want to hone your skills in finishing techniques.
After all it is the surface that the viewer sees, not all your hard
work of molding and casting. Metallic and monochromatic finishes are
easiest to accomplish. But challenge yourself to be more
artistic.
To provide inspiration take a look at
some of the face and body painting art below. The top rows of the painting was
done on a live models using body paints and an airbrush. The shame of
it is that the art disappears down the shower drain soon after it is
completed. The last rows demonstrates painting on lifecasts. You too,
can decorate your lifecasting to give a permanence
