In outfitting a high quality mold making and casting studio there are certain basic pieces of equipment you should have. You of course will need a gram scale for accurate measuring of your casting and molding materials. As you gain experience you will want a pressure chamber to eliminate air bubbles in your casts and a vacuum chamber to de-air your rubbers. We also recommend plumbing plaster traps to eliminate clogged sinks due to residues. Listed below are our recommendations for a basic studio.
