How To Create a Mold From A Master Casting
In our last article we demonstrated the latest techniques in face casting using Fibergel® to create a detailed face casting of CastRite®. FiberGel is an alginate molding material and as with all alginates is known as a ‘waste’ mold. That is because the mold is destroyed after the first or second casting. In this article we teach you how to create a mold that will provide innumerable castings from your master cast. This technique can be used to create a mold of any object. . . it is known as a ‘blanket’ mold technique.
